On our way home Sunday from Kentucky, I just had to take a detour through the Illinois town of Metropolis to get my picture taken with the giant statue of Superman. I had seen a sign about it on the way down and had talked about stopping by on the way home all weekend. We all had our pictures taken with the statue and I spent $20 at the Superman gift shop. Thanks to Rob and Mike for tagging along on our little adventure through Metropolis, the whole visit only took about 30-45 minutes and it was a great photo-op--check them out!
